Teaching as Inquiry

After
looking at my classroom data, attending a P.D. session with Charlotte Wilkinson
and with consideration of school goals I have decided to focus on the following
inquiry question.
1. How can the targeted use of e-learning/I.T.
tools improve basic number fact retention?
Associated
with this question will be a consideration to the effectiveness of home/school
communication with regard to homework.
I will be
working on this inquiry in conjunction with Gareth who has similar interests.
Target
Group
While the
whole class will be involved with teaching
associated with this inquiry a target group for more in depth assessment
has been selected.
They are: Alexa
Harvey, Corey-James Davidson, Michael Putt, Riley Dickenson, Danielle Harlick
and Luke Gardner
These
children were selected after analysing IKAN and my own number knowledge testing
data. Access to the internet at home was also a consideration.
